I’ve been using WordPress for over 10 years – from setting up my first blog on a free hosting plan to running multiple sites for myself and friends. I’m not here to throw code at you. I’m someone who’s spent way too many hours testing plugins, breaking themes, and figuring things out the hard way.
And I want to save you that time.
Why I Started This Site
I kept running into the same problem. Every time I needed a plugin, I’d Google it and find 10 “best of” lists that all recommended the same things – clearly written by people who never installed any of them. Just affiliate links in a trench coat pretending to be a review.
I wanted something different. Actual hands-on reviews from someone who installs the plugin, clicks every button, and tells you what’s great and what’s annoying.
That’s what this site is.

Everything is written in plain English. No jargon, no code snippets, no “just add this to your functions.php” nonsense. If I can’t explain it simply, I won’t publish it.

Who publishes this site. thewpninja.com is run by the team behind anwp.pro, where we make WordPress plugins for sports and league sites. If one of our own plugins is relevant to an article, it gets named as ours, measured the same way as everything else, and compared against the alternatives at the same depth. If a competitor wins, that is what the article will say.
